But after verifying the clip and the claim, it turned out to be misleading, as the clip is old and does not show a celebration held by Syrians after targeting wireless communication devices in Lebanon.
Eid al-Fitr celebrations in Matariya district, east of Cairo
The circulating video was posted on April 10, the first day of Eid al-Fitr, on the account of an Egyptian content creator named Ahmed Magdy On TikTok app.
Magdy pointed out that the video documents celebrations in the Matariya district, east of the Egyptian capital, Cairo, at the time.

Other scenes were also found published on the account of the young man, Magdy, documenting celebrations in the Matariya neighborhood during the first days of Eid al-Fitr last April. The scenes show the same location, people, and shops, in addition to the young man himself, which confirms that the video dates back to that occasion.

This claim comes after a series of explosions targeting pager communication devices used by Hezbollah members in several areas in Lebanon.
These unprecedented attacks, which were carried out over two days, come after targeted operations targeting leaders or officials in the Lebanese Shiite party, including military commander Fouad Shukr, who was killed in an Israeli raid in the southern suburbs of Beirut on July 30.
Hezbollah members, including fighters, health and administrative staff, use the “pagers” system to communicate, which are wireless pagers, as an alternative to mobile phones, due to Israel’s penetration of the communications network in Lebanon, a security source said.
