Last month, Taco Bell tested a Mountain Dew Baja Blast gelato in one location in California.
Taco Bell has long had a relationship with Mountain Dew Baja Blast.
While there is no word on what will happen with the gelato, the brands are again testing the waters with two new Baja Blast flavors.
Once again, we can’t get them in Pennsylvania but there is always hope that tested products become more widely available.
Baja Blast Charged Berry and Mountain Dew Energy Baja Blast are being tested at three restaurants in California and Arizona through Sept. 28.
Baja Blast Charged Berry includes the original Baja Blast with “an added swirl of sour strawberry flavor.”
Taco Bell said the Baja Blast Charged Berry “has the added benefits of citicoline and caffeine” from Mountain Dew Energy Baja Blast “which provides a jolt of energy needed to conquer the day. This new beverage has 70 calories and 180 mg of caffeine per 27.2 oz serving.”
Mountain Dew Energy Baja Blast comes in a can.
Earlier this month, Taco Bell unveiled some changes to the menu that we can get here.
Rolled chicken tacos, jalapeño Mexican pizza, $2 chicken burritos, wild strawberry freeze and wild strawberry creme delight freeze and new strawberry twists landed on Sept. 7.
