Textron Aviation strike in third week

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – The strike at Textron Aviation continues. It is now in its third week.

The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers leadership is in Wichita. The president joined strikers on the picket lines as they fought for what they believe is a fair contract. The union is ready to return to the negotiating table, but Textron isn’t budging.

Meanwhile, Textron Aviation says it “remains committed to negotiating in good faith to reach a contract that recognizes our employees’ contributions and is beneficial for all employees, the community and our shared long-term success.” The company says their contract offer can be found online.
