According to the Broadcasting Council Television 2 received several complaints after the NRK series “Brekket” premiered at the weekend.
– The complaints are that the series is not suitable for children. There has also been an inquiry with support for the series, says Erik Skarrud, special adviser in Legal and the Broadcasting Manager’s staff, in an email.

Project manager for “Brekket” in NRK, Marita Evjen, emphasizes that the program is intended as humour, and not as a training video in nagging.
– It is important to point out that the store was informed about the recording, and the alarms were turned off – something we inform the viewers about. Therefore, it will be difficult to copy. The participants had to steal strange and funny things, to emphasize the humorous tone of the task.
– We think it sounds unmusical that the state channel itself is making a crime school – regardless of whether it is for entertainment, says senior adviser for communications and government relations at Coop Norge, Knut Lutnæs.
Head of security and preparedness in Rema 1000, Harald Kalvøy, does not think anything of the program in particular, but says theft is a growing problem.
