After the controversy that was raised, the Sufi order to which it belongs announced in an official statement, on Wednesday morning, that it disavows this preacher, stressing that he is not a scholar and yet claims to be a sheikh.
She said that she disavows every action and word practiced by this man that contradicts the beliefs of the Sunnis, noting that this sheikh has been isolated from any title affiliated with the order for 5 years.
But Sheikh Salah al-Tijani denied these accusations, and said in statements to local media that he had filed a report against the girl and her father, accusing them of defaming his reputation. He also described the accusations against him as “campaigns and paid committees that published these publications for other purposes that I know very well.”
