The Kansas City Chiefs took a big hit recently with the loss of starting running back Isiah Pacheco, who is going to miss about 6-8 weeks with a fractured fibula.

Luckily, the team was able to add veteran running back Samaje Perine in late August to their room.

However, that is not the only running back move that they have made.

This week, the team made the decision to sign veteran running back and former Pro-Bowler Kareem Hunt.

Former Chiefs and current Miami Dolphins superstar wide receiver Tyreek Hill posted his thoughts on the move by his old team.

“My boy Kareem back in kc I love it,” Hill wrote on social media Tuesday.

In all likelihood, Hunt could be brought up to the 53-man roster at some point in time to help Perine shoulder some of the carries.

The former third-round pick out of Toledo spent the first two seasons of his career with Kansas City and led the league in rushing as a rookie in 2017.

However, due to some off-the-field circumstances, the team moved on from Hunt and he would later sign with the Cleveland Browns.

After spending the last five seasons in Cleveland, the team did not bring him back this offseason.

The 29-year-old now has another opportunity to try and win a ring with the team that ended up doing so without him multiple times over.

Time will tell to see when head coach Andy Reid decides to make the choice to add him to the 53-man roster.
