– On my behalf, Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense has already held meetings with our partners regarding new air defense systems capable of protecting lives from new types of risks, Zelenskyj said in his daily video speech on Friday evening.
– When someone starts using other countries not only for terror, but also to test new missiles via acts of terrorism, this is obviously an international crime, said the president, who called on the world community to come up with a powerful response to prevent Russia from expanding the war.
In the video speech, he also said that Russia is making fun of China by firing a new generation experimental missile at Ukraine.
– From Russia, this is making fun of the position of countries like China, countries in the global south, and of some leaders who have called for restraint every time, Zelenskyj said.
On Friday, Russian President Vladimir Putin boasted about the country’s new rocket, which is called Oreshnik. There is no air defense system in the world that can shoot down this supersonic missile, Putin said.
