The unit was involved in several high-profile attacks, including the 1992 bombings of the Israeli embassy in Buenos Aires and the 1994 Jewish community center in Argentina.

In 2012, it carried out a suicide bombing on a bus carrying Israeli tourists in Bulgaria.

According to the newspaper, the unit maintained complete secrecy in its operations, relying on local networks and criminal organizations around the world.

The agents, who underwent rigorous security training and often held foreign nationalities, operated under civilian cover and exploited contacts with Hezbollah supporters and foreign governments for logistical and operational purposes.

In 2019, the Israeli newspaper “Haaretz” revealed the failure of several operations by Unit 910 in Bolivia, Cyprus, Peru, Thailand, and Britain, yet its role has been growing in recent years.

This growth actually began in 2008 after the assassination of Hezbollah leader Imad Mughniyeh, and unity continued after the latter’s assassination as a tool in Iran’s “shadow war” with the West in the region.
